Elite Ceramic PRO CX9 – Keep That Just-Detailed Feeling for Years
What Makes CX9 Special?
- Deep, mirror-like gloss: enhances the look and colour depth of professionally prepared paintwork.
- Rain that beads away: superhydrophobic protection helps water form droplets and move off the surface.
- Less stubborn dirt: reduces everyday contamination sticking to the finish, making washing easier.
- 9H ceramic hardness: helps resist minor surface abrasion and everyday wear; it does not make paintwork scratch-proof.
- Chemical resistance: ceramic coating designed to withstand contact with chemicals across the pH 1-13 range.
- Built to last: manufacturer-declared minimum 6-year durability with two correctly applied layers.
How to Use
- Thoroughly wash and decontaminate the vehicle, then polish the paintwork where needed. For compatible preparation, use NANO GO Wax and Bugs Remover and NANOCLAY as appropriate.
- Degrease the prepared surface with NANO GO IPA SCRUBBER where compatible, and make sure it is completely dry.
- Apply a small amount of CX9 evenly with an applicator, working on areas no larger than 20 × 20 cm.
- Polish immediately with a clean, dry microfibre cloth until the section is completely streak-free. Continue in small sections.
- For a second layer, wait at least 2 hours after the first layer has dried.
- Keep the treated surface away from direct water contact for 12 hours after application. The coating reaches full activation in approximately 12 hours.

Frequently asked questions
It is intended for professionally prepared, compatible vehicle bodywork and automotive glass. Coatings and finishes vary, so confirm compatibility and carry out a test before treating a whole panel or windscreen. Never leave streaks that could affect visibility.
The manufacturer describes 9H hardness on the pencil scale. This refers to a coating hardness test, not proof that paint becomes scratch-proof or resistant to stone chips. Physical damage and wear remain possible.
It encourages water to form droplets and run off more readily and can make routine dirt removal easier. It does not make the car permanently self-cleaning or remove the need for washing and maintenance.
The manufacturer's CX9 TDS specifies a meticulously cleaned, polished, degreased and dry surface. Apply with an applicator in sections no larger than approximately 20 × 20 cm and buff immediately until no streaks remain. Use professional protective equipment.
Yes, the manufacturer's CX9 technical instructions describe applying another layer approximately 2 hours after the previous layer dries. Confirm the procedure for the specific CX9 batch before application.
The manufacturer's technical data sheet for this formula declares a minimum durability of 6 years when correctly applied in two layers. Proper preparation, application and maintenance remain important to the final result.
