Yes, with care. Many extractor hood filters are made from unprotected aluminium, which DEGREASER may discolour. If you are unsure what your filter is made of, test on a small area first. On suitable filters and grilles, spray, allow the cleaner to work, agitate if necessary and rinse thoroughly with water. Do not allow the product to dry.

Yes, where the material is resistant to strong alkaline cleaners. DEGREASER can be used on baking trays, oven racks and the outer bottoms of suitable pots and pans. Please note that a pan with a non-stick coating inside may still have an unprotected aluminium base. Use with care on unprotected aluminium trays, cake tins, moka pots, old aluminium pans and foil containers, as the product may change their colour. Rinse food-contact surfaces thoroughly with drinking water.

Yes. It is suitable for grease, burnt-on dirt, soot and smoke deposits on grills, BBQ grates, cooking grates and smokers. Clean only once the surface has cooled, and rinse food-contact parts thoroughly with drinking water.

Yes, on removable, washable parts that are resistant to alkaline cleaners. Take care with non-stick or specially coated parts and follow the appliance manufacturer's instructions. Avoid heating elements, electrical components, control panels, ventilation openings and electronics. Rinse removable parts thoroughly. Parts that cannot be rinsed should be wiped several times with a clean damp cloth.

Yes. It is suitable for cooled, soot-stained fireplace and stove glass. Apply to a cloth rather than directly onto the glass, to keep the product away from painted frames, sealing rope and flooring. Wipe the glass thoroughly with a clean damp cloth afterwards.

Yes. It is suitable for glazed tiles and other tiles resistant to alkaline cleaners. If the tiles or their decoration are unusual, test a small area first.

No. DEGREASER is a strong alkaline cleaner, so check the surface before use. Use it with care on unprotected aluminium, copper, brass or zinc, as it may change their colour. Do not use it on catalytic self-cleaning oven liners or waxed and oiled surfaces such as natural wood. Take extra care with painted, lacquered, anodised, non-stick, decorative or specially coated surfaces and test on a small, inconspicuous area first.

No. DEGREASER is ready to use. Apply sparingly, as more product does not necessarily give a better result. Allow it time to work and rinse thoroughly after cleaning.

For lighter grease, a few minutes is often sufficient. For heavier soiling, leave it for up to 15 minutes, but do not allow it to dry. Use shorter contact times on painted, lacquered, anodised or coated surfaces. If soiling remains, rinse and repeat the process rather than extending the contact time.

On surfaces that have not been cleaned for a long time, grease, soot, heat or earlier cleaning may already have affected the finish. Once the old layer is removed, existing stains, oxidation, dull or heat-affected areas may become visible. Dull patches may also appear if the product is used on an unsuitable surface or allowed to dry.

Use the product according to the instructions and in normal household quantities. Rinse the cleaned surface with water. Do not pour undiluted product or leftover product directly into the drain. Follow the recommendations of your wastewater treatment system manufacturer.
